Helping children learn to read — and supporting something deeply important to me
My goal is to help children become confident, capable readers while also supporting a cause that matters deeply to me. This work matters to me not only as an educator, but also on a personal level. ALS has touched someone very close to me, and that experience has shaped why supporting this cause is central to this business.
My Commitment
Diane Marthaler Reading Tutor LLC is a for-profit business, not a nonprofit organization. As part of how I choose to run this business, I plan to donate a significant portion of my earnings, after business expenses, to support ALS-related causes, including contributions to the ALS Association and, when needed, support for individuals and families affected by ALS. Donations and support are provided on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
Tutoring and Donations
Tutoring services are provided as a paid educational service. Payments for tutoring are not charitable contributions and are not connected to donations. Any donations are made separately by me and are not tied to individual tutoring sessions, but are part of the overall mission of this business.
Supporting ALS
If you would like to support ALS directly, you are welcome to do so through my personal fundraising page.
Donations made through this page go directly to the ALS Association and may include contributions from others, as well as donations I make personally, including those funded through earnings from my tutoring business.
